Corcovado National Park is a reserve located southeast of the Osa Peninsula (Costa Rica) that houses various protected tropical ecosystems. It is considered one of the regions with the greatest biodiversity on the planet and among its wildlife are macao macaws, tapirs, jaguars and squirrel monkeys. Hiking trails along the coastline and inland traverse habitats as diverse as Pacific beaches, mangroves, shallows and rainforests on the mountain.
