About the destination: Bangkok, one of Asia’s most cosmopolitan cities, is the capital of Thailand. Bangkok is hot and crowded, but it's fairly clean and offers lots of fun things to do. Bangkok has great shopping, plenty of culture, amazing temples, delicious food and a decent art scene. Most of Bangkok's sights are concentrated on the island of Rattanakosin, often referred to as the Old City. The Grand Palace is the absolute must see site. The Grand Palace complex also houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Keow, the most sacred Buddhist temple. Other famous temples in Bangkok are the Wat Pho and Wat Arun temples. Bangkok is a great place for shopping. There are many shops, shopping centers and markets to satisfy every wish. The nightlife scene in Bangkok is as varied as the city itself, from beer bars to exclusive clubs, night shopping markets, discos to hippie parties. Bangkok is a large sprawling metropolis, noisy and crowded yet peaceful and delicate. It is one of the world’s top destinations that one has to visit at least once in life.

About the destination: Ayutthaya city is the capital of Ayutthaya province in Thailand. Located in the valley of the Chao Phraya River. Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. The ruins of the old city are preserved in the Ayutthaya historical park, which is recognised internationally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins, characterised by the prang (reliquary towers) and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of the city's past splendour.

About the destination: Chiang Mai is the hub of Northern Thailand and the Capital City of the Province of this name. With a population of over 170,000 in the city proper, it is Thailand's fifth-largest city. Located on a plain at an elevation of 316 m, surrounded by mountains and lush countryside, it is much greener and quieter than the capital, and has a cosmopolitan air and a significant expat population, factors which have led many from Bangkok to settle permanently in this "Rose of the North". Chiang Mai's historical center is the walled city. Sections of the wall remain at the gates and corners, but of the rest only the moat remains. Inside Chiang Mai's remaining city walls are more than 30 temples dating back to the founding of the principality, in a combination of Burmese, Sri Lankan and Lanna Thai styles, decorated with beautiful wood carvings, Naga staircases, leonine and angelic guardians, gilded umbrellas and pagodas laced with gold filigree. The most famous is Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, which overlooks the city from a mountainside 13 km away. Modern-day Chiang Mai has expanded in all directions, but particularly to the east towards the Ping River, Mae Nam Ping, where Chang Klan Rd, the famous Night Bazaar and the bulk of Chiang Mai's hotels and guest houses are located. Loi Kroh Rd is the center of the city's night life.

About the destination: Khao Lak is a series of villages, now tourist-oriented, mainly in the Takua Pa District and partly in the Thai Mueang District of Phang Nga Province, Thailand. The name "Khao Lak" literally means "Lak mountain". Lak mountain is one of the main peaks in the hilly small mountainous region within Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park. It is popular for its serene ambiance and as a departure point for liveaboard scuba diving trips to the Similan Islands. Khao Lak is north of the island of Phuket along Phetkasem Road, one of four major highways in Thailand. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS - Lampi Waterfall. A very nice waterfall. - Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park. - Chong Fah Waterfall. - Cheow Lan Lake and Rachaphrapha Dam. Superb views over the lake to the limestone ridges. - Khao Sok National Park. About the destination: Khao Sok National Park, nestled in southern Thailand between Surat Thani and Phuket, is one of the country’s most breathtaking natural treasures. Its ancient evergreen rainforest, dramatic limestone karsts, and mist-covered valleys create a landscape that feels almost prehistoric. The park is also home to a rich variety of wildlife, including gibbons, hornbills, macaques, and, with a bit of luck, the elusive Asian elephant. For nature lovers and adventure seekers, Khao Sok offers a quieter, more pristine alternative to Thailand’s busy islands and beaches. Most visitors divide their time between the main rainforest area near Khao Sok Village and the spectacular Cheow Lan Lake. In the rainforest zone, you can hike along well-marked trails, take a guided night safari to spot nocturnal animals, or paddle down the Sok River in a canoe, drifting past towering cliffs and dense jungle. Local guides are highly recommended, both for safety and to increase your chances of wildlife sightings, as they can point out animals and plants you would otherwise miss. Cheow Lan Lake is the park’s star attraction: an emerald reservoir dotted with vertical limestone peaks and floating bungalow camps. Staying overnight in one of these raft houses is a highlight of any visit—wake to mist rising off the water, go for an early-morning boat safari, or explore hidden coves and caves by longtail boat or kayak. Many tours include short jungle hikes to viewpoints or waterfalls, and the atmosphere is far more tranquil than the popular coastal resorts. The best time to visit Khao Sok is from December to April, when the weather is generally drier and trails are easier to navigate, though the park is lush and green year-round. Pack light, breathable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, insect repellent, and a rain jacket, especially if you come during the wetter months. Accommodation ranges from simple guesthouses in Khao Sok Village to mid-range treehouse lodges and the iconic floating bungalows on the lake, making it easy to tailor your stay to your comfort level and budget.

About the destination: Don Sak is a district in the eastern province of Surat Thani. The two main ferry companies that offer services to Samui Island depart from the district's docks. The neighboring districts are: Khanom and Sichon, Nakhon Si Thammarat province; and Kanchanadit of Surat Thani.

About the destination: Ko Samui is an island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus, Thailand. Ko Samui is Thailand's second-largest island after Phuket. Abundant tour - Bophut Beach. In the north of the island, is a popular starting point for diving tours. Bophut is one of the few places on Samui that retains some of the island's original Thai-Chinese atmosphere. It has recently experiencing a boom with new hotels and guesthouses sprouting up at a frantic pace. The traditional core of Bophut, known as the Fisherman's Village, is a charming village on the east side of the beach while the new developments are to the west. In contrast to Chaweng there has been a conscious effort to dissuade the more commercial elements of Thai night life from setting up shop and instead aiming for couples and young families. The beach road retains much of its charm although the new construction took a bit away. Old Chinese shop-houses crowd the narrow street many with sympathetic conversions to modern use as restaurants and cafés and small trendy shops. The beach itself encompasses some 2 km of white sandy shoreline fringed by coconut palms and the calm waters of the bay make this a popular spot for playing or relaxing, rather than swimming, because the water here is often murky, especially around December. - Na Mueang Waterfall. Purple rocks surround the stream of water, which gushes in from an impressive height of around 79 m. Mae Nam is known for it's 7 km stretch of beach. The beach has white sand and is lined by coconut trees. The sea is typically calm, however there is a moderate drift and the water is not usually clear. Mae Nam actually means river, 'mae' meaning mother and 'nam' water.
